Dirgha Raj Joshi - American's Outstanding Social Worker and trainer Award

General Introduction:-

I am Dirgha Raj Joshi from Dhangadhi, Kailali Far-West Provence of Nepal where my origin place is Bajhang District of Nepal. I am 38 years old and by profession, working with KEC Services Pvt. Ltd. as a post of Managing Director located at Dhangadhi with branch office Kathmandu and Bajhang District since 2015 after the huge Earthquake Disaster in Nepal 2015.  Before 2015, I was engaged with COCAP (collective campaign for Peace as a National Volunteer, with Youth Action Nepal as a campaign Officer and LWR (Lutheran World relief) as a Lead trainer in Grokha District.  KEC Services Pvt. Ltd. is a Constructional and vocational training provider Company as well as work with Disaster Risk Reduction Sector around the Nation since its establishment. Currently number of Engineers, Designers, Geo-tech Engineers and trainer’s are engaged with this company.  We collaboration with number of NGO’s, INGO’s and other government organizations some of them are CRS (catholic Relief Services), LWR (Lutheran World Relief) LWF (Lutheran World Federation), SSICDC, ECO-Nepal and many more. KEC also deal with the other companies for complete their project especially deliver the training, design the Shopping Complex, Industrial Block’s and many more and number of Residential Buildings as well. 

Carrier Objectives:-

My main aim is work as a Disaster Risk Reduction sector and other humanitarian sector in national and International Level. Moreover I am willing to work with Human right and Peace sector to raise the voice of Women children and indigenous peoples in different tribes. And my activities and personality would become a role-model and strong stimulus for upcoming generations.

I cogitate human beings are for contributing the world and winning the award in payback of that one. This International Awards under the category of “American Award Entrepreneur of the Year in Service Business” with an Estimable Award title, “American’s Outstanding Social Worker and Trainer Award” has really stimulated me to achieve my higher aim that my career gleams more. Main job duties

-          Design and develop the training material.

-          Manage overall planning of the project.

-          Consult with NGO’s and INGO’s for deliver the quality training after post disaster support in concern district of Nepal.

-          Design to build the different construction project in national level.

-          Attain the national and International seminars, conference and workshop in the sector of Human Right and Disaster Risk Reduction.

-          Support the NGO’s to increase their technical skill and competence.

-          Survey the different project with collaboration of Government and Non government organization.

-          Prepare the master plan of different type of project.

-          Diploma in Civil Engineering from CTEVT.

-          SLC from Govt. of Nepal in 2002.

 Award/Honor:-

-        Guinness Book of World Record Holder in 2021 for organizes the social     awareness program in the world’s highest altitude.

-        Everest Honor Award for my contribution in the sector of Human right Defender and      activist in national and international      level. (Organized by. PIM Nepal at    Sulukhumbu    District, Nepal on 2020.

-          Appreciated by Collective Campaign for Peace ( COCAP) by letter of appreciation            for 45             day’s national Cycle Ride to raise the issue of missing/disappeared            citizens by Government and CPN  Maoist in Nepal During the international conflict.

-          Honor by the Government of Nepal Minister of Physical Infrastructure, Urban Development and Transport management by “highly appreciation and contribution ”for providing the best training in the sector of Re-construction of Nepal after Nepal Disaster 2015 (where more than 10,000 people are died and 600,000/- building are totally collapsed)

-          Honor by Nepal’s First Vice President Mr. PARMANANDA JHA by PIM Nepal “SEWA PADAK” for my continuous work from 2007 to till date in the sector of Human Right Peace, Democracy and reconstruction of Nepal after the Earthquake of Nepal.

-          Honor by SSICDC (Suhara Sadan Community Development Centre Gorkha Nepal) for delivering the best Mason Training in the Gorkha District of Nepal (Gorkha is a major hit area by the Earthquake of Nepal in 2015) where I produce more than 6000 trainee to safe shelter construction. Under the project of ERO (Earthquake recovery operation). Organized by SSICDC and CRS (Catholic Relief Services) Baltimore USA jointly. Which project cost is around 90 mil and the time is 3 years.
