BIOGRAPHY OF MR RISHIDEO BISSESSUR

Born on 19^th January 1980 in a tiny island known as Republic of  Mauritius  in the midst of Indian Ocean.

Join the Ministry of Health & Wellness Mauritius in the year 2000 as Student Nurse after completing Higher School Certificate at Secondary Education level.

More than 23 years of experience and service to humanity as a Nurse.

More than 15 years of experience in Nursing Education and teaching health-allied courses.

More than 5 years of experience as Exam  Organizer, Assessor & Moderator working the National Examination Body known as Mauritius Examination Syndicate (MES).

Actually working as Charge Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit Ward D4 Victoria Hospital Candos as Charge Nurse.

Graduated in the field of Nursing Education in 2008 after completing a Degree Bachelor of Arts (Cur) in Nursing Science with majors in Health Sciences Education and Health Services Management from the University of South-Africa.

Graduated in the field of Critical Care Nursing in 2009 after completing Post-Graduation Degree Honours Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies with specialization in  Medical-Surgical Nursing Science :Critical Care General from the University of South-Africa.

Graduated with a Diploma in Performing Arts Indian Classical Violin from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute in 2019 and has been teaching violin at certificate and advanced certificate level.

Has worked as Nurse Educator for more than 4 years on a full time basis in delivering nursing courses at National level.

Graduated with a Master’s in Arts in Education from Unicaf University in 2019.

Actually pursuing Master’s Degree courses to keep pace with lifelong learning.

Trainer’s Certificate in General & Critical Care Nursing at NQF Level 6 from Mauritius Qualification Authority.

Has worked as Specialized Nursing Officer in Critical Care Areas like Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac ICU, Coronary Care Unit & Coronary Angiography for more than 15 years.

Apart from my professional life I do much service to people in need of healthcare at home.

I’m a great passionate of music and plays violin in the Indian Classical style. Music is the universal language to join people together.

I’m a great lover of nature and like explore green natural areas.Highly spiritual person with great values to humanity as my philosophy.
