Surendra G.C. Has Won American's Young Dynamic Academician Award

Surendra GC, the founding CEO and Chief of Gyan Jyoti Secondary School & Gyan Deep College, concurrently assumes significant roles as the district president of the Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools' Association (HISSAN), Nepal Private College Association (NEPCA), and holds an advisory position with the National Private and Boarding Schools' Organization Nepal (NPABSON).

Mr. GC, the esteemed advocate for educational excellence in the Dang Vicinity, has dedicated nearly two decades to elevating the standards of education, educational administration, and fostering a culture of learning among young minds. As the founding CEO of Gyan Jyoti Foundation, overseeing a cluster of schools and colleges in the Tulsipur valley, Mr. GC has showcased unparalleled proficiency in realizing organizational objectives—namely, serving society through the provision of high-quality education.

Born in 2038 BS in Tushara of Pyuthan District, Mr. GC completed his high school from Mahendra School Tulsipur Dang, Intermediate & Bachelors from Mahendra Multiple Campus Ghorahi Dang, Masters & M. Phil from IACER College Kathmandu.

Surendra GC commenced his academic journey as a teacher right after completion of SLC Examination. However, his career as a higher education teacher began in Kathmandu after completing his M.Phil degree from Pokhara University in 2013 AD. His deep-rooted passion for teaching and understanding student behavior set the foundation for an illustrious career in academia. Mr. GC's academic saga commenced in Kathmandu serving as a faculty member to Campion College, Kantipur College, and Reliance College as an influential teacher, then has gracefully extended to his homeland, where he established a high school upon returning to Dang. This institution swiftly garnered acclaim, prompting Mr. GC to open new schools annually which now reached to be 11, propelled by the persistent requests and phenomenal success.

Mr. GC's unwavering commitment to quality has attracted like-minded investors in Dang, leading to the expansion of his academic footprint. His efforts have earned him recognition and accolades, including the prestigious Education Service Award from the Government of Nepal in 2068 BS. Furthermore, Mr. GC has received the coveted awards in Dubai and Tokyo for consecutive years, 2022 and 2023 AD, respectively, through the Nepal Education Award. Honored with Educational Award 2069 by Civil Voice for Peace & Development Educational Award and Appreciation from 2071 to 2075 BS continuously for 5 years by Focus Nepal. Mr. GC has recently bagged “American's Young Dynamic Academician Award" 2023.

Gyan Jyoti Foundation, under Mr. GC's leadership, has been instrumental in imparting quality education to a commendable student body of over 12,000 in present date. His contributions are not only acknowledged within the province but also resonate at the national level, earning him well-deserved admiration and respect.
